Mac: Add an address to Entourage

  1. Open Entourage.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts:Tools > Accounts
  3. Click the New button. Enter your email address:Add > New ...
  4. Next step Click Configure account manually:
  5. Account settings Starting from the top:
    1. Account name: Enter a name for your email account.
    2. Make sure Include this account in my "Send and Receive All" schedule is ticked.Personal information:
    3. Name: Enter your name.
    4. Email address: Enter the email address you are creating the account for.Receiving Mail:
    5. Account ID: Type your whole email address again
      (e.g. you@yourdomain.com .. the whole thing).
    6. POP server: Type mail. followed by your domain name.
    7. Password: Make sure the box is checked to enter your password in the Mac OS keychainSending Mail:
    8. SMTP server: Same as for the POP server – type mail. followed by your domain name.
  6. Click on "Click here for advanced sending options".Add > New ...
    1. Click on SMTP server requires authentication, so that a tick appears next to it.
    2. Click on Override default SMTP port and enter 587
    3. Close the small dialog box

  7. Click OK and close the Accounts window. Entourage is now setup to send and receive email.
